Hi, my name is Majken, I’m happy to see you here! 

Here’s a word or two about me.

First and foremost, I’m very much into historical non-fiction. Actually, I’m so into it that I’m in the works of writing a historical non-fiction telling. I cannot reveal too much about it just yet, except that it’s a story set in the late 1800s/early 1900s and that it follows a young boy who lived quite an unusual life.
 

The blog you see on this site was born out of my book project.
Because spending weeks, months, years nose-down writing, well, it takes a good handful of motivation to keep going.  
 

In my blog, I share things that inspire me to stay on track. It can be interesting stories, wise quotes, splendid ideas, amazing projects, art, nature, the voices of women - basically anything that makes me feel alive and vibrant, anything that makes me wonder, anything that gets me in a curious and creative mode...or simply puts a big fat smile on my face. 
I’ve figured that I truly need this to keep the steam up.
