Hi ya'll,
Welcome Back - the second part of season 2025 is here.
I hope you've had a wonderful summer. Did you go somewhere special? Did you experience something truly nice? I hope you had a relaxing and joyful time, no matter where you've been or who you've spent your time with.
Now, being in good spirits can be a bit of a challenge these days since, well, we do live in pretty gloomy times at the moment, right? Wars are taking place, politicians are going berserk, longtime friendships between countries and continents are seriously challenged, climate change is exploding - the list goes on and on. So, amid these chaotic circumstances, I sat down and asked myself: what theme would be great for this season? What would be truly nice to hear about? And I ended up with the idea that...No, actually; what happened first was that thoughts like: "This is so not how the world should be, this is so not okay," went through my head (I may have added some swear words too), then I regained a steady breathing and my next thoughts went something like: "what can I do? Little me in this big, big world?" And I had the idea that this season, I wanted to give you a more light-hearted approach to my FEMiNOMENAL blog. This season I wanted to - hopefully - add a little spark of energy to your days, a little yuppie-ai-yaaayy, I wanted to help you fill yourself up, help you water your roots, and gently remove those old dried-up leaves that need to be removed. Times call for kindness and joy, for creativity and curiosity, for sinking your shoulders and saying "mmm, yeah, I like that". Let's try 'n move our lovely old planet in that direction, shall we? A big hug, and let's go.

With warm thoughts I dedicate this blog post to B. You are remembered.
