Hi there,
“Elegant”, “sharp as a tack”, “irresistibly charming.” We’re talking about the fictional character Miss Phryne Fisher here, the glamorous private detective who lived in 1920s Melbourne. Miss Fisher was created by the Australian author Kerry Greenwood, who wrote no less than twenty-two books in the series - some of which were made into TV shows. Now, Greenwood was quite a character herself, originally a criminal defence lawyer, but then turned into a writer of books and plays. Also, she was a founding member of the organisation ‘Sisters in Crime - Australia', where she helped other female crime writers to carry out their dream of writing and publishing their novels. Anyway, meet the entertaining Miss Fisher, a woman who “gets what she wants and has the good sense to enjoy every minute of it!” Inspirational indeed.
The ENTERTAINING one
The ART one

The DEEP one

Until next time,
Majken xx
