Hi there,

When the British arrived in Australia in 1770, they claimed the land was empty, and therefore they were free to settle. They were obviously wrong.

Recently, British artist Patrick Waterhouse brought several official colonial documents with him to Australia. He invited artists at the Warlukurlangu Art Centre to apply their art, knowledge, and understanding of the land to them, the result is moving.
